Huh, I guess Everyone stayed on Discord after the Session Ended
That’s weird. The session ended like 20 minutes ago, but it looks like everyone is still on after I said goodbye. There was a flurry of goodbyes, and I dropped off to go eat, but I guess everyone else is still chatting? That’s okay, I thought things were winding down, but apparently not. I really don’t mind, I’m sure someone just had something to say to Jackson about their new character. But man, I don’t know if I’ve ever been in a session that went over this long with just chatting. I wonder what got it started. They probably didn’t plan it.
Okay, so now they’re posting just meme after meme. They’re coming in pretty quick. It was just basic D&D stuff at first, but now it’s delving into some sort of weird internet Shrek lore. I actually have a bunch of stuff saved from an old college Facebook chat, I’ll bet they’d find funny. Not just the gross-out stuff, but real existential bone-hurting-juice stuff. It would be weird for me to jump back in, right? I’ve said goodbye, and I said I was going to go get food. Which I did, but I can eat and chat at the same time. I’m pretty sure my mic doesn’t pick up my chewing.
Okay, that would be too weird, I’ll just post the basic one with Carl Wheezer. Diana will lik- yep, she gave it a laughing emoji. She’s really good at that, just giving quick acknowledgements, like when I suggested a heist plan last session, even if we didn’t go with it. Alright, I’m definitely overthinking this, I either need to join the Discord or mute it, because otherwise I’ll just sit here all night trying to decipher what’s going on based on memes and seeing whose chat lights up when. And muting it means they don’t have to explain everything that’s been going on. I’ll just ask about it next session.
