The Only Edition Relaunches After the Failure of The Only Plus Streaming Service
From the Desk of the Editor
We here at The Only Corporation are both happy and sad that today has come. Happy that we are able to reopen The Only Edition’s web distribution service. We are sad, because we have been forced to shut down our premiere streaming service, The Only Plus, after only three weeks of operation.
When tragedy strikes, it is easy to look for where to place blame. Is it the fault of our intrepid board of directors, who attempted to divine where the market was taking us? Or is it the fault of you, the consumer, for not realizing the great boon The Only Plus was going to provide you? Was it my fault, for suggesting that we delete our entire previous catalog in preparation for a video only presentation, or was it you, Greg Marsden, who shared his password with at least five different households across the Oklahoma City area? We may never know, Greg.
Wherever the fault may lie, The Only Edition is back, and will resume its place as the only tabletop news site for you. Also, if anyone has any screenshots of our old articles, please send them to us.
Alongside the shutdown of The Only Plus, we must also announce the discontinuation of the many actual play series that debuted on the service. Those include Drunks and Dragons, Dicey Drunks, The Adventure Zone: Imbibation, Drunks and Dragons, and Guy Fieri’s Dungeons and Dragons and Drive-ins and Dives. We look forward to finding other avenues for these wonderful programs.
Finally, I leave off with a promise to you, the reader and enjoyer of The Only Edition. You will need to renew your subscription. You knew what you were getting into. We all know you’re going to buy the new one even though the old one was perfectly fine. Because in the back of your mind, you’re going to wonder what you’re missing out on. And all the cool kids will be reading us, right here. So pony up.

i love this and sincerely thank you for existing
Thank you, Beef
Cracking me up. One of our guys discovered your site at the end of our Only War session, interrupting the incidental 2 hour post game discussion of “what’s a realistic weight for rope” and nixing a real chance of someone instituting a house rule for realistic rope decay.
You are doing God’s work.
Indeed!
